Lightweight and Sturdy >>> Weighs
about 7 lbs. - Made with HDPE plastic "Structural Foam" -
1/4" thick! The top feels as sturdy as plywood, but very
lightweight. Tough enough for a pounding with a
hammer, but light enough to float on water -
so you can take it to the lake - when you go
fishing! |
 |
26" square x 2" overall height
>>> Easy to carry - stores in a small
space. Tuck it behind a door, next to the trashcan, trunk of
the car, or back of your truck! Most trashcans range in
size from 17" diameter to 24" diameter.
This worktop makes a great size table for convenience and
mobility! |
 |
Rounded corners - smooth edges everywhere
>>> Designed to work without causing damage to
walls, door openings, or vehicle! Easy on your hands,
too! - Note: Small nicks can be removed easily with scrub pad
or sandpaper. |
 |
Sturdy ribs on the
underside >>> No moving parts to
break or lose! And NO pinched fingers! Just
place it on top of the trashcan and the ribs keep the worktop
centered - This patented design works on round or square
trashcans - Sizes range from 17" diameter (20 gal. can) to 24"
diameter (55 gal. drum) and square trashcans up to 22 1/2"
across the top. |
 |
Sockets at the corners >>> Designed
to receive 1 1/2" PVC pipe legs - Cut 18" lengths of pipe to
make a bench or 30" lengths to make a desk. To make any
custom height - Cut pipe approximately 1/4" less than the
required finished height. The plastics may expand or
contract with temperature changes - to tighten the fit in the
socket - you can wrap the end of the pipe with
tape. |
 |
Cut out for hand hold >>> Makes the
top easy to carry with one hand! When you need to carry
two worktops, place them - top to top - with the openings
aligned - they are still easy to
handle! |
 |
Built-in ruler at the top edge
>>> 23" long - 1/8" increments - for quick
reference only! |
 |
Pie shaped opening to the
trash can below >>> Toss the trash into
the trashcan! This opening is located just off the
center - so you can hold down a work piece with one hand and
either cut or drill over the trashcan - Wow - no scraps on
the floor! - But, what if you have no trash? It's
easy to cover the opening with cardboard or any other
worksurface! |
 |
Pair of shallow trays
>>> Two of these trays -
3/8" deep - designed to hold small tools or parts! Large
enough to hold the standard "SpeedSquare" or a pile of
nails or screws. The plastic we selected resists most
common solvents - these recessed areas can hold
paint thinner or cleaning fluids when you are scrubbing
small parts. |
 |
Holes and slots along three edges
>>> Designed to keep your tools within reach -
screwdrivers, hooks or rope in the holes - pliers,
hammer, scissors in the slots! In a windy location, you
should tie the top to the handles on the
trashcan. |
 |
Large "Wood-grained" worksurface
>>> Located over the center of the trashcan -
rest your tools or work piece over the center of the
trashcan. Remember - this worktop does not replace your
heavy duty work bench - always use saw-horses when cutting
boards with a circular saw. Use our table to hold the
small tools and parts. Also, you should use a rubber pad
to prevent slip! |
 |
Long shallow tray
>>> Deep enough to
hold your pencil or a few nails and they stay below the
work surface - Long enough for a ruler, paint brushes,
etc! |
 |
Flange along all four sides
>>> Designed to accept
hand clamps along any side! Helps to hold down
blueprints or a small miter saw! (Make sure to use a
stable trashcan on level ground) |
